August 2011 — "I always walk by this restaurant and can smell it before I see it - in a good way. Sunterra is a place that I can really feel good about eating at and supporting. The food is AMAZING! Everything is so fresh and beautifully made. This time I tried the lasagna with garlic toast and a nanaimo bar. The lasagna tasted great. The noodles were a little over cooked for my liking, but I also went for a very late lunch - around 3pm, so possibly would have been even better right at lunch. The tomato sauce was really good too. The selection of desserts is huge! Had a hard time picking one out. The nanaimo bar I had was as good as it looked. All the desserts seem to be handmade, and it really makes a difference. This restaurant is very nicely decorated, would recommend anyone to try this place."

"Love the Pizza!!!"

October 2010 — "I have been going to Sunterra Marche Bankers Hall for years, mainly because I am a huge fan of the pizza! I don't always get the pizza, sometimes I go for whatever they're cooking in the big pan that day, sometimes I get pasta and sometimes I treat myself to a crepe, pastry or salad. But whatever I decide to indulge in at Sunterra is always worth it. On my most recent visit, about a week ago, I opted for the bbq chicken pizza. The Thai chicken pizza is my favourite but they only have that on certain weeks. The bbq chicken pizza was very good, as is the case with all of their pizzas. I like the thin crust and how the are prepared freshly and aren't greasy. They are also the perfect size for lunch, and I often take some of it back to the office for an afternoon snack or lunch the next day. One thing I really like about the Bankers Hall location in particular is the layout. It is extremely efficient, for example, if you get in the pizza line you can just pay right there instead of going to one of the main cashiers like you have to at some of the other locations. If you haven't tried the Sunterra pizza, it's a great lunch to go!"

"Great variety"

October 2008 — " Pressed for time between work and an evening event, I popped in to the Sunterrra Market in Banker's Hall for a quick bite. The staff behind the counter helpfully explained the various meats on display, chicken cordon bleu and stuffed pork tenderloin. As tasty as they looked and sounded, I opted for some roast turkey (so soon after Thanksgiving it was a bit unusual, but no worries) I selected some roasted squash brushed with maple syrup, butter, and pepper to accompany my turkey. The friendly chap warmed it up for me while I grabbed some fresh squeezed orange juice from beside the cash register. Pulling up a chair at one of the tables in the mall, I dug into the squash. It was pleasantly seasoned, with a hint of sweetness working together with the zip of the black pepper. The turkey was moist and well seasoned and I made quick work of the whole meal, finishing in under ten minutes before slurping the last of the deliciously pulpy orange juice. Finding a healthy, quick, and inexpensive lunch or after work snack in downtown Calgary can be a real challenge nowadays. It's comforting to know Sunterra is still dishing up tasty meals throughout the day. "

"A Nice Escape"

November 2007 — "I have just discovered the Sunterra Market, and now that I know it exists and is filled with yummy, fresh food, I will return! I really like the European cobblestone street market atmosphere, complete with old-style street lamps... once you pass through the gate you totally forget that you are actually in the +15! There are many different food outlets, made to look like permanent street stalls, and they offer a range of meal or snack options, from wood-fired pizzas to sandwiches on fancy bread, make-your-own-salads to fresh baked goods. I picked a pre-made chicken salad sandwich and it was so fresh, the bread was tasty and soft. I was also surprised by the prices - really cheap for such quality food. The dining in experience is quite pleasant with a reasonably spacious setting of wooden tables and imitation scenery. I'm not a big fan of fake plants, but I like the plastic grape vines dripping from the upper balcony and creeping along the walls in the dining area. The Sunterra Market is a nice escape from the office, or the cold downtown streets."

"Downtown Market"

November 2007 — "I really love shopping at the Sunterra Market in Bankers Hall. They have a great salad bar and I really appreciate the healthy options available for purchase. For example, you can find pre-packed veggies, fresh fruit, low fat dairy products and low calorie snacks. Time saver tip: It gets busy at lunch time so I've been trying to get there in the morning to grab a salad for later. I would love it if in the future they could have nutritional information on their in-house food packs (i.e. sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc.). "

"I fugured out what the hype is about"

April 2007 — "Working downtown, I always wondered why so many people were lined up at Sunterra. Once I tried it out for myself, I realized: it's because you get a great deal for your money. They have a great salad bar that has a bunch of tasty stuff -- chicken, hardboiled eggs, tuna, ham, bacon, chick peas, a few different cheese including feta, strawberries, mushrooms, artichokes, olives, about five different dressing, plus the usual array of veggies. The salads are priced by weight, and I've never spent more than $5 on one. They have a selection of wraps, hot meals, baked goods, smoothies, pizzas and even some grocery items, which will probably not run you more than $10. I usually get the salad bar, but I've had wraps from there before, which are pretty tasty (though I did find a small chicken bone in one which I could've easily choked on so beware)"
