November 2009 — "Located right at the base of Centre Street bridge in Chinatown is this unassuming restaurant. You could walk right by if you are not looking for it. Perched on the second level, it has a good view of the traffic coming into downtown. Like most older resturants in Chinatown, this place is not much to look at. It is relatively clean with plenty of seating. The service is quite excellent. Once you are seated, a pot of hot tea comes out immediately. The menu offers what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant serving the usual Peking/Cantonese cuisine. We settled on a plate of Beef Ho Fan, Sweet and Sour Pork and Ginger Beef. The food came out very, very fast and it tasted great. It was all fresh and straight from the wok, no sitting around under a heat lamp. We were really impressed with the speed and the taste. Prices are pretty reasonable as well, with most dishes in the $10 to $12 mark. I would definitely come again."

September 2009 — "Dim Sum downtown Chinatown is usually the place of choice for my friend, U and Me is the only choice. I don’t’ totally disagree either. For a Chinese restaurant, the service was okay. I didn’t have to wait too long for the hot water in the teapot to be refilled and the bill came without any huge gestures. We had a good number of the usual dim sum dishes, pork, scallop dumplings, beef tripe, beef with rice noodle, chicken feet. The classic dishes. Let me say, the chicken feet was definitely braised long enough and the beef wrapped in the rice noodle was pretty tender. By the time we left, I was full to the rim and very satisfied. The bill came out to about $30, which is decent for dim sum nowadays for the variety, but the one warning is on the cleanliness. I mean, it’s not bad, bright, and cool in temperature but looking around the restaurant, you may find a couple of health violations. "

"Oh man..."Chin
May 2008 — "Okay, I love U and Me. Forget Denny's and Humpty's, U and Me is my late-night dinner destination.
But I'm worried.
It seems word has got around about how good this place is that the crowd occupying the restaurant has begun to get little "undesirable".
Simply put, if you go to U and Me after 2am, you might find yourself surrounded by clientele that may or may not have spent time in a holding cell.
If that doesn't bother, by all means enjoy the great food and friendly service."

April 2008 — "A regular late-night haunt of mine; there is no better place to go for authentic Chinese cuisine at three in the morning.
Some of my favourites on U and Me's menu include the oyster omelette, the eggplant hot-pot, and the salt and pepper squid. All three of these dishes are probably the best this city has to offer.
Furthermore, the service here is as good as, if not better than, what any other late-night eatery offers.
Price wise, one will probably find they'll end up spending less money eating here than at a Denny's or Humptys."
