August 2011 — "As suggested by the name Noodle World specializes in all different kinds of noodles along with many other varied selections on their large choice of menu items. I recently stumbled on to this restaurant in the Forest Lawn area purely by accident as I had been looking for another restaurant in the area but decided to settle on this place because it looked rather busy inside and I was truly very hungry. I am very glad that I happened to wonder into this restaurant because it is a gem if you are a fan of Vietnamese cuisine and/or noodles. It's menu had some of the most varied selection in noodles I can remember and the food tasted delicious. The menu item which caught my eye was the house special noodles which can be ordered with wither rice or egg noodles and also comes with an assortment of meats and spring rolls. It was very delicious to say the least and I'm sure to be back soon."

July 2009 — "I'm always amazed at the varied times in which certain restaurants take to serve the same meal. Vietnamese restaurants are particularly interesting. In some places a bowl of pho can take 20 minutes, in others it will literally be at your table five minutes after ordering.
Noodle World is such a place.
Maybe it was because it was lunchtime, or maybe it's just because they have the art of pho making down to a science, but I don't think I've ever had such good pho produced in such a timely and professional manner.
I ordered the special noodle soup and enjoyed it thoroughly. There was enough tripe and flank in it to appease any pho enthusiast.
My father who accompanied me here ordered a broken rice platter that contained a variety of Vietnamese specialties. He mentioned the egg omelette on it as being particularly well done.
If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese menu served promptly without compromise by all means head to Noodle World."

June 2009 — "I like this restaurant mainly for it's selection of Vietnamese dishes. I've found over the years that you have to know which Vietnamese place to go to make sure you can get that clear noodle, or satay soup, or bun bo hue dish, or clay pot item but with this restaurant, they have it all. This really surprised me and my friend. When we walked into the restaurant, it was quite busy with Asian people, which was a good sign. The waitress was really fast in coming to take our orders and our food came out in under 10 minutes. I ordered the bun bo hue dish and an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were pretty good and the bun bo hue is quite decent. The prices are also on par with other restaurants. Our bill came to about $21+ tip for two people. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone looking for a good selection of Vietnamese food."

April 2009 — "This Vietnamese cuisine restaurant is truly authentic. The majority of the patrons are Vietnamese so that must say something about their food. Now don't be deceived by the name, they do have a large menu that also has other dishes, not just noodles. I don't usually get the noodles so this works well me and the significant other since he loves them so much. I gave the Broken Rice Special which is a huge dish of rice with a large variety of items such as charboiled pork, shredded pork, shrimp, vietnamese sausage, and this interesting square of egg quiche. I think the price is just over $10.00. It's a fairly decent price given the amount of food that they give you. I wish they had half portions though since I can never finish it. The service is fine. They seat you and bring the food out curtly so no complaints there. Overall, good place to go for some authentic Vietnamese food. "

March 2008 — "I was somewhat surprised to find this restaurant wasn't in the WorldWeb database when I first wanted to write a review, I mean as far as my friends and I are concerned, it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the city.
While it looks just like every other Pho joint in the city, the menu at Noodle World sets it apart from the cookie cutter places out there. The menu thing is massive, with well over 200 items for people to choose from.
I ordered the broken rice plate special for approximately $11.95. When it was delivered to me, I could not believe the sheer amount of food I was receiving from this restaurant. The plate was filled to the brim with charbroiled pork, rice, shrimp paste, egg cake, and beef balls. The meal could quite literally feed a family for a week.
Oh and for the record everything on the plate tasted as good as any Vietnamese food I've ever tasted in Calgary.
Go to Noodle World, now."
