June 2010 — "Despite the low rating shown here (as I rated the ambiance and beverages as just average), my husband and I still rate the food, service and prices with a 9.95!!!
Husband and I walked in (Saturday evening, no reservations) and were seated immediately. Our server (Athena) was very pleasant and efficient. Received quick service.
Ambiance is pleasant but the booth seating is uncomfortable (wooden bench with hard seats - table too low). Tables looked more comfortable. Carpets throughout really need replacing (very dirty and worn); however, rest of restaurant was clean and tidy.
What made it all worth it is was the food...absolutely delicious. Had mousaka with greek potatoes and greek salad. Fantastic. Had the baklava for dessert...a bit pricey for the amount, but, again, was very tasty.
Will Definitely Be Returning!!!"

January 2009 — "Food was great. Use to go when was Paros on 4street in Calgary, Alberta. It was there for 14 yrs. Now been in Airdrie, Alberta for 6 yrs. So happy as best Greek food. Place is nicer and newer and easier to park in Airdrie. Same staff. Loved belly dancer on Saturday night"

February 2008 — "Paros on Main Street is an authentic Greek restaurant conveniently located downtown Airdrie, and it is always busy. We tried three times to eat there before we actually got a table. I strongly recommend reservations! We were seated right away by the host at the front door. The atmosphere is vibrant with Mediterranean scenes painted all over the walls. The blues in the décor are very relaxing and inviting. We sat at a booth on the outside of the restaurant. The booths seats were not very comfortable. It was like a thin cushion over a wooden base, and it seemed that the table itself was too low. Next time we will opt for a proper table and chairs. We were brought water and menus right away. The waitress was nice and she brought our drink orders quickly. My fiancée and I both ordered the souvlaki, thought mine was lamb and his was beef. Our meals took almost a half hour to arrive. The restaurant smelled like sweet spices and we were both very hungry. Our meals both came with rice and potatoes and Greek salad. The food was delicious. My lamb was cooked to perfection and the rice and Greek salad were perfectly spiced. I don’t normally take home left overs from restaurants, but both my fiancé and I asked for ours to be wrapped up. Our meals came to $41 plus tip so it was reasonably priced. There were a few children in Paros, but it is mainly a couples or older family restaurant. We will go back to Paros and strongly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Greek food!"
