November 2009 — "We've gone in to eat and had takeout and both experiences were very positive. The food is very good and well proportioned (expect to have leftovers for lunch the next day)!! The only negative I've found so far is that the Alfredo sauce has next to no flavour..tastes like a basic bland white sauce. I love Fettucini Alfredo so I was disappointed that it tasted like nothing as apposed to cheesy garlicy goodness. I've tried the Baked Spaghetti though and it's delicious with lots of flavour. My husband has had pizza both times and drools anytime we drive by the place now lol. Pizzas are crammed with toppings where you can tell they just put handfulls on instead of other "franchise" pizza joints where you can tell everything is weighed and counted.. no worries about putting on that one extra olive at this place! The staff are very friendly and the desserts are also delicious! So glad to have an Italian eatery here in Airdrie!"

February 2008 — "Casa Mia is a family owned and operated business in North West Airdrie. The town of Airdrie raves about this little place. It is always busy, especially during lunch. From the outsides, it looks to be a quaint little Italian place, with little white Christmas lights decorating the windows. Inside it is an authentic Italian eatery. It only seats maybe 60 people but it has a very comfortable, lively atmosphere. The place is well lit, but with soft lights and is very clean looking. The service is good. We were seated immediately and drinks were brought within minutes. The menu boasts many traditional Italian dishes, but the pizza is what makes Casa Mia famous. We ordered a 5 meat pizza – I’ve forgotten the name of it. It took about 25 minutes to be made. But when it came out, it was worth the wait! The thick home made crust was crispy on the outside, but chewy on the inside. There was a perfect amount of sauce and the meat was piled high. There was a generous amount of cheese, though the pizza was not greasy. Dinner was a bit on the expensive side, about $50 for two of us, but it was worth it!! I would defiantly recommend Casa Mia to anyone who loves authentic Italian food. We will defiantly go back to sample the other dishes. "
