February 2011 — "Thai Bistro is well priced Thai restaurant just at the Edge of Chinatown before the Center St. bridge. Parking like many other downtown restaurants was a bit hard to find, but there is an Impark Lot right next do it if you can find the space. For appetizers, I would recommend the deep fried stuffed chicken wings. These are boneless wings tha they stuff with sticky rice and tastes great. The price was about $5.00 for 2, but are a decent size. We also ordered the Pai Thai and Thai Red Curry with Beef. The Pad Thai is better than most other Thai places, but still is not exactly authentic in my opinion. It was slightly saucy where it should be dry. It tasted pretty good and the portions were decent sized. The Red Curry was also pretty good, but the beef was hard to eat as it was very rough and chewy. Prices were about 10-15 dollars per dish and the servers were very attentive and food was brought out quickly. I’d come back again because I felt it was good value for the money, but the food does need some improvement."

February 2011 — "I was suppose to meet up with my friends at Thai Bistro in Chinatown, right dead on center street and I did. We had some of the normal dishes - the pad thai the pad stew, some rice and curry rice of some sort. And it was pretty good when the food was piping hot and it had just some out, but unfortunately, a little while into the meal, the food was already cold and you could truly taste and see the glossy oil that was used to mask the lack of flavor. I guess this is where you could say it's a sight for the eyes, and if your eyes don't want it, neither does your stomach. The dishes came out relatively quickly and they were decent sizes. Definitely big enough to share, which is what we did, but I can't say it is a place that I would want to try and try again. The environment is pretty dimly lighted and sets the mood if that is what you like, but all in all, I must say that they didn't do a bad job. Thereafter, I also believe that the servers were pretty attentive. I came in a little later than the rest of my friends, but within secs, I was already greeted with smiles and a drink request."

September 2009 — "My husband and I have been here a few times for lunch and dinner. Their curries are pretty good, I found their pad thai a bit on the salty side. Overall a great place for lunch!"
