February 2011 — "After numerous rave reviews, my fiancee and I went to Cafe Brio on valentines this year. Needless to say it was a very busy evening for the restaurant, but had lots of seating options for an early dinner (6pm reservation). The ambiance is very nice, with some really great art (which is all for sale the website states). The service was also excellent, where we were waited on very efficiently and never left with half a glass of water. As the evening became busier, service did slow a bit, but we have to keep in mind it was likely one of the busiest nights of the year... I was also very impressed with the food. For a started we had a selection of their house-made salamis and prosciutto, served with again house-made pickles, mustard and breads. This is an outstanding way to start a meal, I would return for this reason alone. We then shared a caesar salad and a 16oz beef strip steak for two. Unfortunately we were not overly impressed with the steak, as it was a bit overcooked. We ordered it medium rare, where it's middle was, but it was a bit over at the end portions. The sides that came with the steak were excellent. We were also very happy with the desert, a classic creme brulee. We will certainly be going back to Cafe Brio again, it will no doubt become one of our regulars."
