February 2008 — "Sanuk has a ambiance that is unique and funky. The decor is well suited the food they serve. This restaurant would be a good place to take a first date because it offers a romantic atmosphere with an intimate setting. The menu is not extensive but contains many choices of tapas. The majority of the food on the menu is tapas style and meant to be shared with others. There are only a couple of large meal options, although rice could be added to many of the dishes to make them a complete meal for a small cost. I enjoyed the the sticky ribs and the tempura prawns a lot.
I was impressed by the large martini list which contained many unique choices and the wine list, although it was small contained quality BC wines not available in other restaurants. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have an intimate dining experience and be adventurous. This is not a restaurant to go to if you are looking for a budget friendly meal as the dishes are small and around $12 each. "
