August 2007 — "Java Jamboree is a great Cochrane coffeehouse. They have a nice selection of coffees, teas, and other beverages as well as a small selection of pastries/baked goods. Although the menu is good, I mainly like this place because of the atmosphere. There are couches and tables with stacks of magazines and articles. It is the type of place you want to bring a book and settle down for a nice read. Pretty much what you expect the original, non-franchised, Starbucks to be like."
