June 2011 — "Serious Coffee located in James Bay, is another great café in Victoria. James Bay is quieter part of Victoria and has eclectic shops, Serious Coffee being one of them. The Café is very spacious with several places to sit, nice big leather chairs to lounge in with a group of friends, or single tables to enjoy your coffee. There is also an area for laptop users, but most of the tables along the wall have a plug in for a laptop if needed. They offer free wireless internet without any passwords, just open your laptop and surf! When I walked in the staff were very friendly and efficient with my order. I tried a different loose green tea and a sugar free lemon drop cookie. Both delicious and delightful! I’m interested in trying the gluten free ginger cookie, next time. I was able to sit for over an hour while I worked on a few projects and noticed that there were several people coming and going from the Cafe. Serious Coffee offers a light and simple menu; they have a hearty soup of the day, Panini’s, freshly made sandwiches, and even breakfast items to go. If you are in the James Bay area, and looking for a casual atmosphere for a coffee, Serious Coffee would be a place to try out. "
