May 2011 — "The Moka Coffee house in Cook Street Village has a friendly, sociable and welcoming atmosphere. I walked towards the coffee house I noticed the large outdoor patio to enjoy. I went inside and the large comfy chairs welcomed me to stay inside as I had my laptop and there were plugs for laptop needs placed by spacious tables. I noticed there was more of a living room area for larger groups of people to enjoy. They offer a variety of coffee beverages and teas, I like they promoted organic, fair trade and bird friendly coffee, also their fair trade, organic teas were a pleasant addition to the menu. Their menu includes a food fare as well, offering Panini’s, deli style sandwiches, and deserts from local bakeries. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. I highly recommend the Moka Coffee house if you’re looking for a little bit of a local flare and great coffee."

March 2009 — "Moka Café is situated on Cook street in the heart of Cook Street village. This coffee shop is extremely busy even though there is competition from two other coffee shops, including Starbucks, within spitting distance. Apart from coffees and other drinks, they also serve sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls and other lunchtime snacks. There is free wi-fi access and that could be a reason for a struggle to find a table as there are many laptop users at the different tables. There is also an outside patio seating area and that is my place to sit and relax. We ordered a Sausage roll and a Cornish pasty for lunch along with our coffees and did manage to grab a table as it opened up. The one issue we had was the delivery of our food. Food is put up on the counter with little announcement so you need to keep your eyes peeled for your food. This may not be an issue if it is quiet but when there are groups hovering, it does lead to a bit of confusion."

November 2007 — "My wife and I took a walk to Fisherman's Wharf to have a nice fish and chip lunch. We did not know that the local fish and chip place was closed for the season. It worked out well though because we found this coffee shop. It is conveniently located right above Fisherman's Wharf so we decided to pop in. I ordered a moka and my wife had their chai latte. Both tasted quite unique and we really enjoyed them. The atmosphere inside was very inviting and cozy. There were a lot of local people enjoying their drinks and chatting which confirms that people enjoy coming to this establishment. We decided to stay and order lunch. We opted for the chicken pie and steak and mushroom pie. Both were very enjoyable. Even though we had been expecting fish and chips, this meal proved to be very satisfying.
If you're visiting Fisherman's Wharf, why not stop and get a coffee to enjoy on your stroll. We did!"
