October 2010 — "Redd’s Roadhouse Restaurant is upstairs in the Comfort Inn on Blanshard Street. There were about a dozen of us who decided to have a meal late one night and they had no problems seating us quickly. The restaurant is more of a sports bar with jerseys and tv’s everywhere. It seems like a large place, if you’re looking to host a party, and the service was excellent and friendly. The menu consisted of typical pub food and the portions were huge. We all ordered different dishes like burgers, salads, fish and chips, nachos, and a few appetizers. Everyone had a chance to try everyone’s dishes, which made for a great meal with a lot of variety. Given that this is a sports bar, the food was good and a person with a large appetite would not be disappointed! If you’re a sports fan, I would recommend this restaurant but otherwise, there are many other wonderful restaurants to try and experience."

December 2009 — "After some shopping my spouse and I decided to grab a bite to eat, not wanting to eat in the mall food court, we decided to go somewhere close. We chose Redd's Roadhouse which is located up stairs in the hotel at 3020 Blanshard. It was definitely a sports bar. Linoleum floor, jerseys hanging everywhere, tvs screen with a sport of some kind going on in every corner. It was a definite beer parlor atmosphere. They tried to fancy it up with the wall paper and a huge gas fireplace. It was cold in the place also, so we sat next to the fireplace. I noticed they had an outdoor seating area which would probably be nice in the summer months. Other than one other table of construction workers, we were the only ones in the place. Not very busy for a Monday at lunch time. They had all their burgers on special for $7.95. I picked the California chicken burger which was served on foccacia bread with avocado, tomato, lettuce, and monteray Jack cheese. It also came with soup, fries or salad. I decided on the salad. It was a nice mix of greens, with beet, carrot and turnip grated on top. My husband ordered the Shameless burger. When it arrived the lettuce and tomato looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for quite some time and was not very appealing. He complained and the waitress brought him fresh ones right away. It was not a big deal, just needed attention and shouldn’t have been served in the first place. Any ways he did enjoy his burger with fries. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and tasty, the service was friendly, washrooms clean. The atmosphere was just a little lacking for my liking. I would probably give it another try one day, but wouldn’t make a real effort to go back real soon as there are so many places to try. "

November 2007 — "While staying at the Holiday Inn at Victoria this past month we enjoyed a delicious meal at the adjoining Redds Roadhouse Restaurant and Pub. This is a very easily found location and right off the road coming from the ferries and airport. The interior is cheery and casual but they have a full service menu. There are specials of the day and breakfast is served seven days a week. We opted for the breakfast menu and the food came to us hot and delicious and the eggs done to perfection and done as we ordered. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. There were lots of local people as well as travelers from the Inn next door. They have a large pub area with lots of specialties and two big screen televisions. They carry all the Canucks games. We quite enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely come back for another taste of their menu. "
