July 2007 — "Anyone who likes a good Mojito, some Cuban atmosphere or sumptuous tapas should head the way of Viva Cuba! I haven't been to the new second location in the city centre but shall go again and again to the original restaurant out on Kirkstall Road. It doesn't take reservations and it is usually busy which means waiting around for a table but the lively atmosphere of the place and the bar overlooking the tables isn't painful at all. The tapas are great, the drinks too, if a little pricey, and the general Cuban-themed decor and music make this place a success. Okay, so the restaurant does play the Che Guevara card in a bit of memorabilia around but there is so much more to this little jewel!"
