September 2007 — "At a recent visit to the Lion's Den Pub, we went to have a couple of drinks before heading off to a more lively location. We ended up staying the entire night. This pub is small and clean but can tend to get cramped with customers by the end of the night. We ordered an appetizer platter which was good old pub food but was very good. One platter fed 6 of us. As the night continued the pub got busier and busier and now I know why. They started the Karaoke at about 9pm and it was so much fun. Many customers were comfortable enough to go up and show their talents (or lack of) but it was all very entertaining. The host of the Karaoke night was so funny and kept the people laughing. The best part was the woman hosting the Karaoke night. She sang a few songs for us and was absolutely amazing. She, alone, would keep me coming back every weekend to hear her sing. If you are looking for fun night with plenty of entertainment, come to this pub."
