March 2012 — "I recently moved to the Killarney area and Richmond's is the pub that's closest to me so I venture there for meals every now and then. It's a typical sports pub -- lots of big TVs blaring whatever game is on, some pool tables, typical pub food and a pretty bland atmosphere. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with it but there's nothing to make it special either.
I've tried a few things on the menu -- their pizza is quite good, the poutine is tasty and their chicken wrap is ok. The beer selection consists of the usual suspects -- nothing really interesting or unique. The service is usually pretty good, but bear in mind that I've only been there on pretty slow nights. They have bands most weekends and the parking lot is always packed on those nights so it might be worth checking out.
All in all, it's a decent experience. Not WOW, but not bad either. "

March 2011 — "Richmond's Pub and Eatery is a great neighborhood pub in the Westbrook/Richmond area of SW Calgary.
I enjoy the size of the Pub and the huge patio open in the spring and summer months.
They have about 20 different beers on tap and a wide variety of bottled beers cocktails, and specialty wines. It is a fabulous place to go with a large group of friends or small, to watch the hockey game. They have several large screens and smaller ones throughout to accommodate any area of the pub.
The food is always fresh, hot served fast. Appetizers and main dishes are priced reasonably and proportioned perfectly.
The Servers and bartenders are warm and quick to help with anything you may need. They always have tons of staff on hand evenings. On any weeknight you can find great food specials and drink specials.
They have great wings, mushroom caps, ceasar salad, chicken fingers, and their burgers are to die for!
They play all classic rock music in the bar mostly, but do have a juke box readily available. As well as great pool tables, vlts and slot machines.
Plenty to do, plenty to eat, and drink. A great night out.

June 2009 — "I'd spent the morning south of the city and needed to find a place to stop for lunch with my 1 year old son and out-of-town visiting mom. We were looking for for something 'safe' that would have a child-friendly atmosphere (in case he had a melt down) and something satisfying. We saw a big sign for Trappers and decided to give it a try. I was in the mood for a sandwich or burger and certainly a cold drink! Well the waitress was wonderful. She loved my son and kept him well entertained. My mom and I had a nice standard lunch that tasted good and was of good value. She had the pulled pork and I had a chicken wrap."
