March 2011 — "You don't go to this place and eat a club sandwich. It's a maritimer pub that specializes in fish & chips with beer batter (Alexander Keith's beer of course) and thin and crispy fries. For only $11 you get three pieces of fish and tonnes of fries. Needless to say I couldn't finish the whole thing. The beer batter was not cooked all the way through on this occasion but on other occasions it's been perfect.
The place is full of picnic tables and true Atlantic fishing paraphenelia. At nights on the weekend they feature bands that sound like Great Big Sea so it's awesome fun.
Our server on this occasion was a little rough around the edges and I wished we didn't sit so close to the bar she was working at. All we could hear was her telling some regular patrons about all the drama in her life with swearing every second word.
Anyway, I enjoyed the ambience and the food so I wouldn't let a few minor things stop me from returning."

"East Coast Fun!"Brent
October 2006 — "The Atlantic Trap and Gill is an extremely fun joint! On the weekends they have an East Coast band that belts out the tunes. Leaving the clients to dance, drink and just be merry.
Instead of tables for four, they just extended picknick tables that will seat 10. So when you get your drink on, you find yourself not only chatting with your friends, but making new friends as well.
The food is also very tasty. Altough I only have had the deep fried stuff... Which is hard to screw up."
