May 2011 — "Special Teas on Fort Street is one of those hidden gems of Victoria. Some people know it as the Tea Room and that is very fitting for this pleasant tea shop. There is a wall of tea, over a hundred types of premium blacks, greens, oolongs, rooibos, honeybush, yerba mate and combinations of all of them. The owner of the Special Teas greeted me with a warm welcome. I ordered the rainbow rooibos tea with hints of almond and strawberry which was very satisfying. You also receive with your one pot tea a few cookies to sit as you enjoy your tea in the relaxing sitting area surrounded by teas and all the comforts of teas. I have been back to try other teas and know that it will take some time to work my way threw the wall of teas. I highly recommend the Special Teas for a tea to go or relaxing afternoon over a tea pot filled with your favorite tea."
