June 2011 — "Willie’s Bakery located on Johnston street downtown Victoria is one of the oldest bakery’s known to Victoria. When my friend and I walked into the restaurant the staff greeted us with a very friendly demeanor, and they welcomed us as we sat down in the covered patio area for a light lunch. The menu has something for everyone, I highly recommend the curve appeal salad, fresh greens with a freshly grilled chicken breast, mozzarella, peppers, and sautéed mushrooms were my favorite! My friend enjoyed her chicken club which looked great! Then we had one of their freshly baked double chocolate cookies made with dark and white chocolate.
Willie’s also serves all day breakfast, and the museum café kiosk which is located by the BC Royal Museum, and they offer a variety of sandwiches soups and vegetarian chili. I definitely recommend Willie’s Bakery for a simple and delicious lunch when in the downtown area.

August 2010 — "It is a lovely sea shore cafe, not right by the water, however it is closely located to the Victoria's sea port. This cafe is one of the few that is open for breakfast. It looks like European cafe and has a cozy patio. They have a great breakfast selection, which includes Eggs Benedict. Deliciously rich Eggs Benedict that are served with home style roasted potatoes and for a great price! The staff is friendly, courteous and fast. If you ever find yourself in Victoria, head straight for breakfast at this lovely cafe! "

October 2008 — "Willie's Bakery is located in Lower Johnson in an eclectic neighborhood. They've got a fantastic semi out door area, a cafe section and an outdoor heated patio. They serve the usual pastries and sandwiches and coffee. A friend and I decided to stop in for tea and a snack and I ended up buying herbal tea and croissant with ham and pepper on the inside. I was surprised at the flavor as it seemed so simple and barely had anything in it! Plus the total cost came to $5.36. I actually thought they typed in the wrong price...it seemed so inexpensive! My friend ordered the same croissant and a coffee and really liked her food and drink. The service was great and there’s seat for any kind of weather or mood. Also, there’s lots of fun places to shop around there and Willie’s Bakery is a great place to people watch! I would highly recommend this coffee shop!"

August 2008 — "My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful cafe this summer. He had the eggs blackstone (a variation of a classic eggs benny) and I had the banana pecan french toast. They both delivered a mouth watering WOW from the two of us. The latte and americano were probably the best we have ever had. We sat in a very pretty courtyard where there was a fountain, roses, birds and even a fireplace. Service was exceptional. We will definitely go back next time we are in Victoria and will stay in the one of the guest suites located above the cafe. "
