March 2011 — "I have been in here a few times over the years, but after moving and living now a bit closer we have started to use it more as our local pub. It really is a pretty cool place, well decorated and sort of separated into rooms that gives it more of a private feel. One section up at the back has a really funky old sectional couch with side tables built into the corners with a fireplace and tv in front of you. Not sure how much time you have spent drinking beer around a fire at your grandma's house, but its what it reminded me of...
ANYWAY... our last visit was in hunt of some protein in the form of poor little chicken wings, and was very happy to hear that some great reviews from the others I was with. I ended up deciding on the blue moons which was a sauce of blue cheese and hot sauce and something I can't wait to go back for.
My only complaint was that the waitresses (on this weekday evening) did not seem terribly motivated to make sure we had beer or food, but I am just going to chalk this up as the "Tuesday blues" for now..."

June 2009 — "This pub is a great find, on Tillicum Road and as the name suggests it is close to the Gorge Walkway. The pub has the feel of a traditional English pub inside with dark wood furnishings but does have TV’s all over to cater for the sports fans. There was a small patio section outside but it was close to the road so seemed a bit noisy so we got a seat inside. The best seat in the house seems to be in front of their huge fireplace and we noticed it had a reserved sign on it so get there early or know the manager to get this seat. We were there on a Friday afternoon and the place was not too busy so the service was quick and friendly. We each had a pint of beer and although it was on special, it was only $4.13 so that seemed a good deal. Their burgers seemed to be the popular item on the menu so I chose the cheddar bacon burger and my spouse had the salmon burger. The burgers were good and at $12.50 and $11.50 good value plus we took the option of adding yam fries for an extra $2. The food was good; the atmosphere was good so we will definitely give the pub a try again."

August 2008 — "The Gorge Point Pub is fairly large although it didn't look that big from the outside. A beer and wine store is located at the parking lot and to get into the pub you have to walk around to the front of the building. The pub itself is long and narrow and I had some difficulty finding the person I was meeting as they were seated at the far end of the pub from the front door. A fireplace breaks up the pub into two parts. It was fairly busy and we ended up sitting at a table in the middle of an aisle until another table became available. We ordered the nachos because the description made them sound huge ... and they were. It was more than an appetizer and in the end we didn't order any dinner because we were full. The service was very good and we were comfortable to sit and chat for a few hours. Although it was busy we didn't feel like we were sitting close to the next table. I would definitely go back. "
