July 2011 — "Brunch was the meal of choice for trying the Marina Restaurant. As with many places in Victoria, this restaurant offers a view in addition to their cuisine...in this area they did not disappoint. Although, at the end of our meal, we stepped on onto their patio for a better view, and the doors did not go both ways...we were locked out. Thankfully there was a side connection to the parking lot, but glad we didn't do that on one of the trips to the buffet instead. This is one of the better brunch selections I have seen. The variety really did include something for everyone. They had breakfast and lunch and dessert, sweet and savory. The only issue was the quality of the food. None of it tasted exceptional. It was rather bland. And my omelet was so greasy I couldn't eat it. For an expensive brunch such as this one, I had higher expectations. Still, you get a good amount of food, as with any brunch, and they include the juice, not just coffee or tea in the price."
