August 2009 — "My mom, sister and friend went to this busy little place located in at Maddicks Farm after golfing one afternoon. Maddicks farm has been around for years, serving locals and tourist alike. It consists of an array of very unique little shops, including a grocery store with local produce, organic meats and specialty items, a VQA wine shop, nursery, mini golf and gift stores. We did not have a reservation, but we were there slightly after the lunch rush, and were seated quite quickly. On one side of this restaurant, is an icecream parlor & deli/bakery. It smells great when you walk in. The tables, chairs and decor is like you are in someones country kitchen. They are well known for their homemade soups, seafood chowder and eggs Benedict to mention a few. There is a wide range of fresh lunch items to choose from, such as Quiche, BLT's, Monte Cristo, Club House, Salads, Curry Noodle Bowl, Seafood Melt, Wraps all priced at about $9.99 to 10.99. I decided on the Thai Salad because I always do. I was not disappointed. It was really good. It came with grilled chicken breast, served on oriental noodles with a homemade peanut Thai dressing and topped with black sesame seeds for $11.99. My mom and friend both had the seafood melt consisting of crab & shrimp on an english muffin topped with mozzarella and a side of caeser salad. My sister had the chicken wrap and ended up taking half home. The portions were healthy. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. We all enjoyed our lunches. The waitress was friendly & efficient. They also have an outdoor seating area. I would go back again."

January 2009 — "I loved this place. It is set in a small village centre in Cordova Bay in Victoria not far from the ocean. Beside the tea room is an ice cream bar and a deli with a quaint little alley way with two trinket type stores. In the square are women's clothing stores, a flower shop, a candle store, a nursery, a select wine store and a grocery store featuring locally produced items. The tea house was busy and apparently it is generally always busy on Sundays. They recommended reservations but we had been out walking and decided to go in and didn't have a reservation. We did have to wait for about 10 minutes but they were able to seat us. Our waitress was quick to get to us and the services was great. We both ordered the special which was cajun chicken burger with salad. It was served on a whole wheat bun and the caesar salad was garnished with freshly grated parmesan cheese and a very tasty dressing. I found the burger to be a little dry as there was no mayonnaise on the bun but the burger was well spiced. Even though they were really busy we didn't feel rushed and were left to drink our tea after lunch without interruption. I really enjoyed the tea house. The setting was relaxing, the staff were welcoming and the food was great. I would definitely recommend Adriennes. "
