April 2012 — "I had no idea this pub even existed, but on a Friday noon hour I happened to have the day off so took my wife to the Coach & Horses Ale House. It is actually pretty nice inside, typical pub atmosphere. We were greeted by the server quickly and she took our drink order. They have a bunch of lunch specials, but I chose to have the clubhouse with fries and gravy. It was actually a really tasty, traditional clubhouse sandwich. The fries and gravy were also very good. My wife got one of the lunch special deals where you pick a soup, a salad and an entree for just under $10. She loved the broccoli cheddar soup, but the salad was wilted. Overall though, the service was excellent and we were in and out in less than an hour! Will definitely be back to this pub in the future."

July 2010 — "I went to this pub with a group of friends for drinks but they had a special on their pizza so we ended up having a full meal there. They also had Ceasar's on special that day and several of us in the group had one and all thought they were excellent. The bartender even accommodated the special requests for extra spicy and less spicy. The pizza we had was really tasty considering this was a pub. My friend had so many meat toppings on theirs, it looked amazing. I only chose 2 toppings and mine was also excellent and I had lots left over. The price was an excellent deal for the amount of food we were served. We sat out on the patio which was an average patio set-up but being able to be out in the sun was great. The interior of the pub is traditional, woodsy and a bit dim but seems nice for a place to meet with friends. I would recommend this pub to others. "

October 2009 — "I went to the Coach and Horses pub/eatery with a friend of mine for an early dinner. This place looked like every other pub in Calgary and served the same type of food as every other pub in Calgary. This isn't a bad thing, it's just that it was nothing new which is OK. It was good food at a decent price. I wouldn't search it out to eat there a second time though.
I had half a veggie wrap and half a thai wrap. The veggie wrap was good but what made me want to get it was the mention that it had avocado in it (I love avocado) but unfortunately I didn't taste any avocado and upon searching for it in my wrap, none was located. The Thai wrap was hot and good but fell apart in my hands as I tried to eat it. "
