March 2011 — "Baton Rouge is renowned for their tender and juicy ribs, of exceptional quality each time. No wonder it’s always packed, especially during hockey season. The servings are very generous; make sure to come with an empty stomach and clean hands because it will be a messy meal! I personally devour them shamelessly at table because they’re just that good. There always a great ambiance, with tons of people coming to live the same delectable experience."

March 2011 — "I'm not the type who usually wants to devour a huge meal at supper, but the Baton Rouge ribs are definitely worth the exception! The portions are huge and the meat is so deliciously marinated. It's finger licking good. If you can somehow manage to eat these ribs in a clean manner, it's probably because you're not enjoying them properly. I always make such a mess, but I truly don't care, as do all the other patrons in the resto! The atmosphere is already upbeat with a lot of sports fans. It's often loud and crowded, so not easy to find a table without a reservation. Regardless, once you've tasted the ribs, it's impossible not to go back!"

May 2010 — "I like to go to Baton Rouge to get my fix of flavory melt-in-the-mouth tender ribs. They are always perfect. This time I ordered the chicken and ribs combo. The chicken was dry and of average quality, not even as good as the ones you'd find in the run of the mill rotisserie. The ribs were seasoned and cooked to perfection as usual, a good example of what Baton Rouge is known for. I will definitely come back again for the ribs since I don't think it can get any better than that. However, I will avoid anything else there. Service was quick and done courteously, as expected from this institution of Montreal.
