December 2009 — "This little Vietnamese restaurant is located just off of Centre Street, south of 16th Avenue. The restaurant itself doesn't look too spectacular. It's the regular Vietnamese restaurant with tile flooring and blank walls. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and is closed quite early daily (8pm). I used to come here quite often but haven't been back in years until recently. They have great noodle soups, particularly the unique clear noodles and curry dishes. Their pho noodle soups were never that great but their wide selection of other items are enough reason to come back. Their spicy items are very spicy compared to other places, so I always ask for less spicy in order to get it to a tolerable spice level. Overall, this noodle house is very decent and I would recommend it if you are in the area. They have a good selection of tasty appetizers as well as drinks.

"Disappointed in Noodle Soup"

November 2009 — "I’ve tried this place 2-3 times in the last few months on a friends insistence, but I just cant seem to find good value in it. I’ve always left disappointed and wished I went somewhere else instead. Each time I’ve gone there, I found the service very slow even though the restaurant was not busy. When the food did finally arrive it, the soup was just warm. It really took away from the experience. I ordered the Curry Chicken Noodle Soup and found it did not taste “curry” enough, and like I said before, the soup was warm and that took away from the “fresh” feeling. I also tried to order the dish without onions when placing my order and after the waiter pretended to understand me, showed up with a bowl filled with onions….Price’s are as usual, around the $10 mark or less. However, based on my repeated experiences, I’m likely to stay away from this restaurant for a while and hopefully it improves if I ever come again."

November 2009 — "I just went and had their Bun Noodle Bowl with Pork and Egg Roll. Very good. The "must have" for all of the Vietnamese Noodle bowls is Thai basil and mint and Pho Anh Huyen delivered. It's a small thing that makes the dish go from okay to excellent. The atmosphere is kind of odd. It feels more like you are walking into a 50's diner rather than a Vietnamese restaurant. I am very excited to go back and try this place again.
I would highly recommend it.

January 2009 — "Don't be fooled by the dreary and non-descript exterior... This place makes delicious food! A variety of curried dishes, soups, and stirfries - not just your typical vermicelli and pork. It's inexpensive, the food is very fast and fresh, and the owners (a sweet family) are friendly."
