October 2011 — "I decided to try this restaurant because there was a Groupon offer and the few reviews available online were all great. I made the trek out to the Northeast with high expectations and I have to say I was disappointed. The restaurant was nice enough with authentic ethiopian memorabilia hanging from the walls and fun Ethiopian music playing. The other patrons were all also Ethiopian which I assumed meant the food would be authentic and tasty. I ordered the vegetarian combo and my fiance ordered the meat combo. My combo was missing one of the items listed on the menu and my fiance's was missing two. Staff was friendly, but when we asked about our combos and why things were missing, we were told that they were extremely busy that day, so they ran out of a few things. The lady was apologetic, but we still felt we should've been told this when we placed our orders and we should have been offered some sort of substitution. The food was luke warm at most and some of the dishes were lacking in flavour and abundant on grease. The one upside to dining here is that prices are more than reasonable if you're looking for a quick, cheap and filling meal, but there has to be better Ethiopian in this city. "

February 2008 — "Best injera in town... they obviously use real teff... and they are the only ones who make fish, it is absolutely divine! Service is lacking but the food makes up for it! (the owner is wonderful but the server could care less if you're there ;-) Ask for the ethiopian stout too, it's so good! This is out of the way for most people but worth the drive! Close to the soccer centre. "
