March 2008 — "I don't really care for Indian food-or so I thought,but my husband loves it so to make him happy i agreed to go for dinner. When the kind waitress arrived i told her of my fears and asked her what she suggested.she was very helpful in pointing out some menu items i could try as a "virgin" of curries. I must say as my first real time trying i was very impressed . I had never realized there where different degrees of spices and how deverse each was. Everything that was suggested was amazing and we can not wait to go back and try some of the many other dishes. "

November 2007 — "I love ethnic food and decided to make the trek to South Calgary to try out Karma. Words are hard to describe my experience. The food was to die for, I have never had butter chicken with such flavour - it is a must try if one likes butter chicken. The ambience was excellent and I felt as if I was dining at a very upscale downtown restaurant (without the upscale prices!). The service was great we had a kind and considerate server who understood that my pallet was one that liked spice and my partner, she does not like spice - she recommended dishes accordingly. Loved it and we will be heading back soon!"

August 2007 — "I was looking forward to eating some good hakka chinese food but was very disappointed. First of all, there was hardly any selection. We ordered Veg Manchurian which was pretty uncooked. Veg Biryani had no real Biryani flavour and the dessert Pista Kulfi had nothing else but ice (no pista flavour whatsoever). Would not recommend this to anyone or go again myself. Absolute waste of money."

July 2007 — "Worst Indian food I have ever eaten and believe me I have been to places. Went with couple of my colleagues and none of them liked it. For starters they have no sense of Menu Planning. For vegetarians they had, Aloo Matar, Aloo Matar Gobhi (Gobhi was hard to find) and Jukini (I never saw Jukini in India growing up) all cooked in the same gravy. And not only that even the gravy was bland. Whatever happend to proteins - could have had some daal. Pakoras required a hammer to break. Chicken makhani - at least that is what it looked like was like rubber in bland tomato ketchup sauce. When I complained about the food the only service staff, a waitress, seemed suprised and suggested we choose from the a la carte menu. She suggested the owner come and see us (at least the poor girl was trying)- he was avoiding us rather than try and figure out what was wrong. I liked the decor but who cares if the food is so terrible. "

March 2007 — "We first tried this restaurant because we love Indian food and it has a good location for us (we live in Mckenzie Lake). Expecting average we we blown away not only by the quality of the food but also by the we were treated. AMAZING is the best way to describe both. If you like it hot, they make it hot. If you like it mild, they make it mild. Great selection, and once you get to know Raj the owner you are treated like his personal guests. Their lunchtime AYCE buffet is pretty darn good too, although I like selection and it is somewhat limited. Go, and go again. You won't be disappointed."
