December 2011 — "So we were out and about and exhausted from a lengthy visit to Ikea and decided to treat our selves to a early dinner.
We drove around the area and saw Fatburger. What an odd name? My wife almost wouldn't go in because of the name...but I won!
Treat it was - holy expensive! Both my wife and I each had a burger, fries and drink while the mini had a kids meal which came with a hot-dog, fries and a drink. The total came to over $40.00 for simple hamburgers...this is insane we both thought...
We sat down and took our first bite! Heaven! The cost melted from my mind! The burgers were so fresh and tasty. Almost like we BBQ'd them our selves.
Would I go again? Yes, as a treat....overall they were great burgers and yummy fries so once in awhile I will most defiantly give in to the price...after all you are paying for quality and high quality they were! "

"Really good burgers"

August 2011 — "I can't say enough good things about Fatburger. This restaurant cooks every burger to order and has great staff. Staff are friendly and the kitchen is half open, so you can see them cooking your food. They have a few different types of burgers, and lots of toppings to choose from. I chose the Hawaiian burger with onion rings. This burger was huge, I really should have shared it! The pineapple was delicious. The onion rings are probably the best in town. The atmosphere and decor are reminiscent of an old drive-in diner. There is a juke box, retro tables and chairs, and lots of pictures of old Hollywood. Fatburger really stands out as an excellent choice for burgers in Calgary. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! The price is about double for what you would pay at another fast food joint, but it is worth it! "

"Fantastic retro burger"

June 2011 — "Fatburger is a large American chain of fast food restaurants that has expanded into Calgary with locations in the NE and the SW. Although I heard about the NE locations for quite some time I never made the time to give it a try. However, on a recent visit to Ikea in the SW I stumbled upon yet another Fatburger location and finally decided to give it a try. It is a restaurant that I'm familiar after trying it on vacations to Los Angeles and Las Vegas and quite enjoyed. Their restaurants are built with a retro flair that reminds customers who are old enough of the days when there were still drive in theatres and hamburgers were delivered out to your car. The food was a bit on the expensive side as some of the burgers on the menu will cost as much as $10 but they are quite fresh and delicious and well worth a try."

January 2011 — "I was excited when I saw a Fatburger open in Calgary. The name doesn’t make you feel great about what you are eating but it is a nice fast food treat. The prices are higher than the average fast food place but the size of the burgers is no joke! I had a vegetarian burger which was tasty and filling. My friend said the meat burger tasted great also. You can choose whatever toppings you want for your burger, and the toppings were all fresh. The fries taste like traditional fast food greasy fries but they are nothing to complain about. We also had milkshakes which seemed like a meal in themselves. They are really thick and creamy, and were such a yummy delicacy. The restaurant area could use more comfortable seating, and additional seating as well. Overall, this is not a place I would go to often but I do recommend it for a greasy indulgence."

"Not your average burger joint"Ryan
July 2009 — "My first time experience for Fat Burger. While the name suggests greasy unhealthy food, there is actually some variety on the menu. Mostly burgers of course, and fries, there is also turkey and chicken and veggie burgers too. And for regular burgers there are many interesting topping to choose from including Chile, egg and spices. The best part about the place is it is restaurant like sit down complete with a patio. They are even licensed so you can have some draft beers with your burger. Very tasty and highly recommended if you haven't tried them before."

September 2008 — "The Fatburger combos are more expensive than your average fast food combo, but they are totally worth it. The combos work out to around $10. The burgers taste fresh and you can choose exactly what you want on it. For a bit more you can add on extras, like bacon and egg. Fatburger prides themselves on their patties never being frozen and you can sure tell the difference as you bite into one. "
