January 2012 — "I have long heard my friend gush about the great food at the Holy Grill and finally got a chance to try it out this past weekend. They are known as a small local and family owned restaurant that serves up amazing burgers and paninis. I'm a big burger fan so I had been excited to try it out. Their hours are very limited (closed after 4pm each day and closed on Sundays.) I checked it out on a Saturday and there was a long line up right at the door. The seats were filled inside of their small store front. We decided to pick up burgers to go since it seemed to be a long wait for a seat. Our choice was the Gourmet Burger for about $7 bucks which is supposed to come with blue cheese and avocados. I was disappointed with my burger as there wasn't anything special about my burger and it was a bit try. I've had much better burgers. Maybe I'll give this place another try soon since I hear their paninis and beet chips are very good but it wasn't quite love at first bite."

November 2011 — "I'm pretty happy that I finally remembered to retain a receipt from The Holy Grill because I find myself eating there rather frequently and never remembering to write a review about how marvellous it really is! This family owned and operated gem is one of my favourite breakfast and lunch spots in the city. If you love eggs benny, please try one of their variations, they are all done splendidly. The beet chips are a fabulous alternative to a side order of fries, definitely a good option for sharing at your table. Their different approach to ordering and serving, very self-help, takes a bit to get used to but in the end just adds to their excellence and it tends to make things faster. I would love if they expanded and/or had better hours (they aren't open for dinner, or on Sundays, the times when I really want good eats). "

September 2011 — "Met a business freind here for lunch one day, and we arrived a bit before noon. This was a good decision as it got very busy, very quickly. I had the salmon paninni with beet chips and was very pleased with the taste and portion size. The price was right as well for what I got.
The ambiance is nice and there is a really good buzz here at noon. I will certainly go back in the future."

June 2010 — "A group of friends and I decided to meet up here for brunch and both the service and the food were great. The way things worked in the restaurant was quite interesting as you would seat yourself, look at the menu and go up to the counter to order. When your food was cooked, someone would yell out your name. As well, there was a waiter walking around taking your plates away and giving us water so very often. We all settled on the eggs Benedict-either with the smoked salmon or the avocado. We also tried the beet chips and it was interesting for a change from potato. Overall, the meal was satisfying and the place was quite packed throughout the few hours we were there."

August 2009 — "We have been meaning to come here for ages, and I'm so glad we did! I am always on the lookout for a great sandwich. This is the spot, for sure. Mine had artichokes and cream cheese and was grilled nice and crispy. My husband can't have cheese on his, so he was offered extra toppings instead. We also ordered the sweet potato chips, which were so much fun and incredibly delicious!
Or food was up very quickly, and we sat and enjoyed our lunch in their nice little dining area. Very smart decor, and wonderful, wonderful food. We left two very happy customers."

Very good burger's, and wraps. The beet, and sweet potatoe chips are geat too.
Lunch time is very busy but I have always got a table. They have a patio in the back during the summer.
This is a very upbeat friendly place. They genuinely appreciate you here."

January 2008 — "I always eat at the Holy Grill it is my favorite Saturday breakfast or lunch spot! The atmosphere is warm and super friendly! They recently did a reno and the place looks fantastic! The guys are always so cheerful and full of energy! The food is also excellent, the breakfast panini is a favourite along with their burgers. I also LOVE the yam fries! "
