February 2010 — "Always on the search for a great burger, we headed to Angel’s Drive-In located in North West Calgary’s Bowness area. It is an old-fashioned building with an old-fashioned décor including juke boxes and booths. They advertise that they showcase classic cars and hot rods on Wednesday nights, but we were there on Friday so can’t comment on that. We both chose a mozzarella burger which had bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayo sauce on a sesame seed bun. Unfortunately I am unable to eat seeds of any kind, and they were very accommodating in providing me with two bottoms of the bun without an issue. We also decided to share an order of fries and onion rings, both were crispy and delicious, although the fries did appear to be of the frozen variety. My other half also opted to have a Pogo stick while waiting for his burger and he seemed to enjoy that. Prices were very reasonable and we would go back. They had a little quote on their menu that I thought summed up their service - “If you enjoy your Angel’s experience, tell others. If not, please tell us.”"

October 2009 — "To be honest, when I first went there I was kind of annoyed at the wait. Till I realized that everything was made fresh and the taste was really worth it. I kind of like the hole-in-the-wall quality, makes you think you have found a treasure of a restaurant. It's a wonderful experience and I will go back many more times."

"LOVE THE MILKSHAKES"

July 2009 — "I've never had the burgers at Angels, never gotten the chance, BUT the milkshakes are to DIE for! I love it. I never go any where else for milkshakes they really are some of the best in Calgary! Granted it could do with a little retouching (new paint... and a bit cleaner looking) but there i guess it's all about the good food and not so much about aesthetics, though it definitely does have that great pop shop one of a kind character that really makes the place
All in all, AWESOME restaurant, AMAZING milkshakes, and from what I've heard GREAT food "

December 2008 — "My daughters and I love coming here. We love the Salisbury burger the most but the others are good too. My daughters love the Poutine. My eldest daughter is allergic to sesame seeds so they serve her burger on thick French bread (she likes it better than a bun anyways!)
I would like to see them fix the place up (paint etc.) and get the Juke Box running again. Really tasty burgers, good ice cream."

March 2008 — "I LOVE Angel's Drive In. It is right near my school, so I've been there a few times with my friends. The burgers and sandwiches are absolutely delicious! Plus I just love the atmosphere. It's super small and decorated like a little 50's diner. They also have great milkshakes. Angel's is a great find!"

March 2008 — "My husband and I have gone there many times throughout the years and don't want to go anywhere else for a burger. The place is a bit run down and needs a few pick me ups but you get your money's worth for an exceptional burger. I order the Mushroom swiss burger with fried onions and you need to get it in the bag they serve it in because it is saucy and yummy. The fries are your average fries until you get the seasoning added to them and have always received the food hot. If I wasn't so full all the time I would order an icecream, it is like the oldfashion icecream that is thick and creamy and I am not a big icecream fan. The place is worth the wait!!"

February 2007 — "Being a bit of a hamburger connoisseur, I can tell you that Angel's has what I consider to be Western Canada's best. If you use the drive-thru, expect it to take a few minutes. It's well worth the wait however. If you eat inside, check out the great 50's memorabilia. Try the Mozza burger, and if you're really hungry, order a large poutine. (It's not real poutine but it's hard to go wrong with fries covered in mozzarella cheese and heaped with gravy.)"
