June 2011 — "I haven't had the best experiences at Irish restaurants since I have found the menu bland. But this place redeemed Irish cuisine for me.
Typically all Irish pubs have wood floors and I could definitely smell the beer soaked floors. Not that I minded though.
I ordered the lamb and Guinness cheddar burger with a caesar salad. The burger was awesome and if you've never tried guinness cheddar, put it on your grocery list. It's a brown marbled cheddar that you can actually taste a mild Guinness beer. A colleague ordered the Baby Stuffed Yorkshires which I was lucky enough to try. They are made fresh daily and have shaved prime rib inside and they come with horseradish mayo and au jus. These Yorkies are awesome.
Our server was a little rough around the edges and I would be scared to make her angry. The servers wear plaid skirts and long black socks which added to the Irish theme.
This place has many TV's around so they host UFC's and other sporting events. Check it out.

May 2011 — "When I heard the Seanachie had $5.99 eggs benny on the weekends I thought it was too good to be true. I love eggs benedict and considering you can pay upwards to $15 for it at certain restaurants it was a great treat to find this wicked deal at the Seanachie, delicious and affordable! Although it can feel odd eating breakfast food at a pub I don't really think I have room to complain, in fact I was so stoked about the good deal and the fact that it wasn't awful tasting I would go back without question! Our waitress was nice, table was good, no complaints here -- oh wait, did I mentioned their eggs benedict was $5.99?!"
October 2010 — "I hadn't been to Seanachie Irish Pub in several years, but when looking for a place in the SW to eat on a Saturday night, we happened upon it. To make things even better we noticed we had a coupon for the pub in our Entertainment book which gave us buy one entree get another free. My wife wanted to sit on the patio, which was about half full, so we found a table out there. It was pretty filthy and looked like it had not been wiped down in awhile. I thought the server might wipe it down when she greeted us, but she didn't. Also, we waited over five minutes for our server to greet us, which was a bit annoying. I ordered the Shepherd pie for my meal, and it was pretty tasty and a good size. I didn't eat the vegetables that were served on the side though because they did not look too appetizing. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. She seemed to be enjoying it but in my opinion, it looks absolutely revolting. When I brought to her attention that it looked gross and was so sloppy and had coleslaw on top of it, she took a moment and then agreed with me and admitted it tasted not that great either. I think she was just hungry. We ordered several drinks and when my wife ordered a new drink, the server took away her other one which was still about 25% full which was not too impressive. I'm not really into using coupons because it is always a bit awkward at bill paying time, but when we got our bill she said she gave us VIP and had the manager put the discount on the bill. The discount was a joke. I think we got $2.70 off the food and $2.30 off our drinks, which is not what the 2 for 1 entree means, at least in my opinion - especially when our meals ranged between $12 and $14. So my wife takes one look at the bill and calls her over. She gave her a piece of her mind and the server said that the pub meal was on special by $2 so the entree was deducted less, but it still did not make any sense and in the end the manager gave us the 2 for 1 entree, but it was way too much of a hassle trying to get the server to fix the bill and her attitude was very condescending. Seanachie puts 3 coupons in each entertainment book so maybe they should learn how to do the deductions. We definitely won't be back - the service was pretty bad, the food was okay and even though the patio was pretty nice, it didn't make up for the poor service."
January 2010 — "The last time I went to Seanachie it was pretty good, but the time before the food wasn't very tasty. I thought I'd try again since my staff was going there for a birthday party. I tried the Garden Burger, a side of Wild Mushroom Soup, and an Organic beer (I can't remember the brand but it is the only one they have I think?). I added cheese to the burger and had it with a multi-grain kaiser bun. The burger comes with a mushroom and soybean patty, peppers, lettuce, onion, and tomato. The soup was tasty and rich. The burger was okay; I had to send it back because it wasn't quite cooked the first time. However, it wasn't bad the second go round, particularly with the cheese. The bun was a bit dry and I added more ketchup to moisten it up. The beer was quite nice and light (sorry I can't remember the name and it wasn't listed on my receipt!) - I hit the happy hour from 5-6 pm so I got 40% off. A strange thing in this pub - it is always cold in there, at least the times I've been in. Maybe I have to drink more! Seanachie is a nice place to go with friends but I can't recommend that the food will be sure-fire...the service was very good; that is worth a lot!"
Management Response:
"Thank you for your comments Mary.
I am sorry that you feel the food is not "surefire". We do try to be as consistant as possible and when we do not meet the guests 100% satisfaction we do our best to remedy the problem on the spot. I am happy to hear that you regard us as a friendly spot with good service. That means alot. As for the temperature we will look into mediating that a bit better in the future. We do have two fireplaces in the pub where we can ensure your warmth and comfort if it is too cold. Be sure to let us know when you come in again so we can seat you by the fire.
(The beer in question is Mill St. Organic) "

August 2009 — "A group of 7 went for breakfast this month. The service was very good, however, the food was another issue. The bread is only toasted on one side. After sending it back it was clear the bread had been placed in the oven and was dried up. The soft poached eggs I ordered were cooked to the point of being rubbery. They were returned. The third attempt was made but the toast issue was not resolved.By the time my meal was ready the others in the party had already finished eating and had their plates cleared.
This was my first and last visit."
February 2007 — "I really like the atmosphere at The Seanachie Irish Pub. It almost feels like you might be in Ireland. However, I'm not a huge fan of the prices. I think it's a bit ridiculous to charge $13 for a quesadilla, $12.50 for a wrap and $12 for wings when you can go and have better food for lower prices at many pubs throughout the city. A pint of Keith's was even $6.25, pretty high for a domestic pint in my opinion. However, the service was satisfactory and the food tasted good, but I don't think this pub will become a regular hangout for me. "
Featuring a custom-made bar from Ireland, The Seanchie Irish Pub boasts an atmosphere reminiscent of the traditional pubs found throughout Ireland. The menu offers a wide range of meals, including hearty stews, burgers, steaks, wraps, appetizers and much more. An impressive array of beers are available on tap.
