July 2011 — "Glenn's is a convenient place to grab a bite to eat on your way in or out of Red Deer. It is located right on Gasoline Alley and is a nice alternative to the chain restaurants like Humpty's and Smitty's etc. The coolest thing about Glenn's is their tea selection. They sell loose tea that you can take home in different sized containers, or try it freshly brewed right there in the restaurant. I had the breakfast special for $9.99 which was 2 eggs, hashbrowns, ham and a biscuit. The price was decent, but I would say that should have been the regular price! I had the special because everything else on the menu was quite expensive. Eggs benedict was almost $14! The breakfast was great and the freshly baked biscuit was a really nice addition to the meal. They serve breakfast all day but also have lunch and dinner items as well. The whole menu is quite pricey though.

July 2010 — "We went to Glenn's in Red Deer because we saw a special up on their sign outside. 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and pancakes or toast for $9.95. There were no substitutions allowed and I was disappointed to not have hashbrowns with it and the pancakes ended up being dry. The eggs were overcooked and the coffee was too weak. The whole breakfast ended up being quite disappointing. I was expecting more as it has a really homey feel inside, with little country knick knacks and a warm atmosphere. However, the special turned out to be the cheapest thing on the menu and wasn't even good. I will say the restaurant was quite clean, and their washrooms freshly renovated. The service was great as well. Maybe we caught them on a bad day or something, but I don't think I would go back. I felt a little ripped off as we were leaving. "

"Great food on the menu"Lorraine
February 2009 — "Gasoline Alley at the south end of Red Deer is always a popular place to stop for coffee or pause for a meal. There are lots of fast food outlets but I prefer to eat at Glenn's Restaurant because the food and service there is always excellent. We were there recently and even though it was mid afternoon we felt like ordering off their "anytime" breakfast menu. I tried their Blueberry Bang Flapjack which is a large pancake made with blueberry tea in the batter. The pancake is stuffed with mushrooms, ham and monterray jack cheese. I was wondering what this combination would taste like and it was delicious. My friend's bacon and eggs were nice too. I always enjoy looking through the tea selection here as the restaurant has hundreds of teas to choose from as well as for purchase. If tea isn't your thing their coffee is great. Glenn's is a good family restaurant with a large senior and children's menu selection. It's spotless and the service is excellent."
