February 2011 — "My family decided on eating at the Bighorn Lounge located at the Delta Kananaskis village. A kids menu with approx. 5 items was provided for kids, with pricing between $6-8 dollars. Kids 6 and under also eat free, and kids up to 12 years of age eat at half price off regular adult menu items (they indicate the kids also only get 1/2 portions with this pricing). Upon our arrival, we stood at the front for approx. 4 minutes before someone finally came over to tell us that we could just seat ourselves. It would have helped if they had a sign that indicated the same. The restaurant was fairly empty, so we chose a booth near the window. The server attended to us quickly and asked us for our kids ages. She took our drink orders and came back promptly to take our lunch order. I had the smoked turkey club house sandwich. At $15.00 I thought that it should be a high quality sandwich. My wife had the montreal smoked meat sandwich. When our meals arrived, our sandwich's were served on a ciabatta bread. My clubhouse had deli style processed turkey meat, which I did not expect at the price that it cost. Nonetheless, the club house was average, but nothing to rave about. My wife's montreal smoked meat sandwhich she tells me was pretty good. All in all, it was a fairly expensive restaurant to eat at, but decent food. "
