March 2010 — "The Whistle Stop Pub is a mainstay in Jasper's pub scene, and for good reason. It's a great place to shoot pool, watch sports, kick back by the fireplace in the winter or just people watch. Being located across from the train station means the crowd is ever-changing with visitors, but regulars abound too, as a visit during a Sunday acoustic jam session will prove.
The grub is good, priced at a very reasonable rate. The Whistle Stop Pub burger is arguably the best deal in town at a measly $5. Fries are always plentiful and best washed down with one of several beers on tap. Daily specials mean you can usually wet your own whistle for under $5.
The new room in the rear is spacious and usually a good place for larger groups to gather. Four TV screens make for ample viewing opportunities. The staff are friendly and efficient, the ambiance is cozy blue-collar. Worth a Stop? You bet."
August 2008 — "The Whistle Stop Pub is a relaxed, friendly, unpretentious local pub that attracts a varied crowd. The $5 hamburgers are a bargain and they have an extensive range of drinks at the bar. The back section features pool and comfy leather sofas. You can really kick back and feel at home here."

September 2006 — "This is a great place meet friends for a drink or two. It has a really friendly, casual feel. I love the big leather chairs - they are so comfortable! And it has nice big windows and a view of the park, so it doesn't feel dingy like pubs often do."
The Whistle Stop Pub is popular with both locals and visitors and features a fireplace, a pool table, a video jukebox and six plasma televisions showing the latest sporting events. Great pub food is offered and daily pint and drink specials are featured. On some evenings, live musicians or jams are found at the Whistle Stop. This pub is located in Whistler's Inn.
