"Good, quick, expensive breakfast"

August 2010 — "We ended up here after a morning walking around beautiful Banff, and it was recommended by some locals that we knew. The menu is small which speaks to the quality of the food on it. I didn't take a look at any options for dinner or lunch, but breakfast was pretty good. My friend and I both had eggs benny, and were happy with the meal. The sauce was homemade and everything came out very quick. It was served with smoked salmon or tomato and ham, as well as hashbrowns. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, which made for a nice start to the morning. My only issue here was the cost of the meal. As I mentioned, we both had eggs benny, then a tea and a juice, where the bill was near $60 by the time we were ready to leave. I don't mind paying for good food (which it was), but I do have a hard time paying $4 for a glass of juice..."

"Pretty Tasty Breakfast!"

March 2009 — "I had never heard of Timbers, but when we went to another restaurant and were informed it was a 30 minute wait for a table, the server informed us that Timbers was now serving breakfast if we didn't want to wait. When we arrived, it was only about half-full and we were greeted right away. The menu isn't large, they had about four entrees, then some granola and other lighter items. I chose the traditional breakfast - which was two eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. It was pretty good. The hashbrowns tasted like they were homemade. My wife had the eggs benedict with maple ham. I had the chance to try it as well and thought it was quite tasty. The hollandaise was pretty good and the eggs were soft poached. The benedict was also served with hashbrowns. The service was really good. The best part of the entire experience was that we were in and out in just over 30 minutes!! "
