October 2011 — "We went for a very long drive and found ourselves in Coleman, and hungry for supper. A day-trip book I had mentioned this restaurant and am I ever glad that we stopped in. The people who run the restaurant are Polish and the Hunter Schnitzel was amazing! The only thing that could have improved upon it was if they served it with spaetzle. We were so surpised to find such wonderful food in this little place in the mountains. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop by for another meal."

September 2006 — "I visit the Crowsnest Pass 2-3 time per year and never fail to have at least dinner and a breakfast at Popiel's. A welcoming management is always a prelude to a surprisingly continental menu served by hand-picked help with wonderfully homey dispositions. David Poissant - Mississauga, Ontario."
