July 2011 — "My wife and I decided to take a day trip out to Emerald Lake, where we had met a decade ago working at the resort. We have visited several times over the years, but this lunch was to celebrate our 10 years. I had the great idea to have something to eat at Cilantro's, where I used to work, and then head up to the Lodge to have something else to eat in the lounge. Cilantro's has barely changed over the years, and it still has an amazing patio out front. However, we wanted to avoid the crowds and chose to dine inside (the only ones!). We got to choose our table and we chose one overlooking the lagoon, which was spectacular. Our server was very attentive and brought our beverages right away. We decided to split the nachos, which was a meal in itself! They were covered in chicken and Jalapeno Jack cheese and served with roasted corn tomatillo salsa. They were very hearty and I was even hesitant to go up to the lodge again because we were both bordering on being full. The whole experience at Cilantro On the Lake was exactly as expected - great views and atmosphere and good food. "
