March 2011 — "These were simply the best green onion cakes I have ever tried! They were light and airy, with a hole in the middle......first time I've had them like that! They were delicate and full of flavour and NOT greasy at all (as they sometimes are in other restaraunts) In a word, delicious! They complimented the fabulous main course of Spicy Lemongrass Beef with Peppers and Onions, served in a bowl of vermicelli. An absolute delight, the spicy tender beef contrasted with the crushed peanuts, crunchy bean sprouts and fine slivers of vegtables. No room for dessert, just some Jasmine tea, $33.00 bucks for the two of us (we each had the same main course)(no alcohol) and we were happy and satisfied."

February 2011 — "-Food was good. Cost was reasonable as we were two and the bill for two (without drinks) totaled $30.
-It was a Friday evening and the service was slow. The waiter did not have time to clear tables for diners waiting to be seated.
-Desserts were not offered and I did not see any in the menu.
-The dining room could have a better decor. (It has round glass tables and chairs that look more like the ones you put on your backyard deck).
-Overall good value, expectations met (food and value), but nothing fanzy.
-I would recommend this restaurant, but do take into account that this is one of the few Vietnamese options in Edmonton."

March 2010 — "I eat at Lemongrass Cafe at least once a month and have never been disappointed. The food is always great, especially the Spicy Beef Lemongrass vermicelli bowl. The service is also good. And the prices are very reasonable. I can get a vermicelli bowl, with a side of springrolls and tip for under $20. I strongly recommend this place."
