"Good Lunch Spot"

June 2009 — "Feeling like a break from a shopping trip in the massive West Edmonton Mall, we decided to sit down at the Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch. The menu they handed us had plenty of lunch choices, such as lasagne, chicken parmigiana and even steak. I ordered the luncheon-size spaghetti with tomato sauce. The meals came with soup and bread. The bread was delivered to our table first. The bread was soft and tasted really good with the garlic spread that was provided. The cup of minestrone soup was next. The minestrone soup was a bit too spicy for my liking. I wish they would have had more soup choices. Shortly after I finished the soup the spaghetti arrived. The spaghetti was nothing fancy, but good nonetheless. The serving of spaghetti they gave was perfect for lunch. Big enough to fill you, but not too small where you leave hungry. Overall I thought the spaghetti factory was a good spot to stop for lunch. They have a wide selection of dishes and the service was fast."

"Great food, great atmoshere"

October 2008 — "Nestled in downtown Edmonton, the ol’ spaghetti factory carries out the tradition of an atmosphere of days gone by. We had made reservations there and when we arrived we clearly did not need them. We were seated immediately and fresh bread and garlic butter arrived very shortly. The waiter was very prompt with the drinks, and the beer was cold and delicious. With the very reasonable prices, I had a starter soup, baked spaghetti, ice cream and coffee all for around $16.00. Everything was served very fresh and hot, and I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied and full, and I even had some spaghetti left over to take home for lunch the next day. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean, and organized. There was an old trolley train in the middle of the restaurant to seat people as well, which really added to the décor. If you want great quality food, with a great atmosphere, I highly recommend checking The ‘Ol Spaghetti Factory out."

"great pasta!"

October 2008 — "We went to the downtown Edmonton location of the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner while we were visiting Edmonton on thanksgiving weekend. We have visited this restaurant before, however not this location. We found parking on the street and we were seated right away. I ordered the manicotti dish and it was very good. The manicotti was stuffed with various kinds of cheese and served with tomato sauce over the top. The starter for this entrée was salad but I did not find the salad to be overly tasty. It was a mixed house salad but was mainly just lettuce and red cabbage. The waiter also provided us with a fresh loaf of bread to start and it was very fresh. The portion size was large and was more than enough for me. This meal was also served with ice cream and coffee. The waiter was a young boy who was very friendly and seemed to be working very hard. The atmosphere was very relaxed and very kid friendly. The prices are extremely reasonable and I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for pasta."

"Pasta Pasta Pasta! "

August 2008 — "When going to The Old Spaghetti Factory you must be in the mood for pasta because pasta is all you are going to find on the menu. There is a wide variety of pasta dishes, including tortellini, lasagna, ravioli, and of course spaghetti. I got the impression that the Alfredo and tomato sauces were the most popular choices. But, there is also a curry pasta dish. All orders come with unlimited homemade bread that is brought to your table fresh from the oven with specialty whipped garlic butter. After choosing your pasta dish you are brought a salad or soup, then your big pasta dish, followed by tea or coffee and ice cream. All items are included in the entree price, which is very reasonable. Entree dishes range from about $11 to $15. The service was quick and the waiters and waitresses were very friendly. If you want pasta definitely hit up The Old Spaghetti Factory! "

"Relaxed atmosphere"

July 2008 — "The restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere. A great place for any occasion, be that a romantic dinner or a Birthday party. The staff is courteous and accomodating. You can always ask the staff for a recommendation on the food and drinks. They provide you with unlimited just-out-of-the-oven tasty bread, unfortunately they only have white bread. Their food is delicious and it is a great value for your money. The only thing that I would add to the menu is the choice of whole wheat pasta. Overall great restaurant. "
