May 2009 — "Sukhothai is located in downtown Edmonton, just off of Jasper Avenue. As is usually the case around lunch time, everyone downtown wants to be in and out in an hour and Sukhothai can accommodate that. There was a lunch buffet but my guest and I decided to order off the menu, which has all the basics and a bit more. The Panaeng Curry was excellent, especially with the coconut rice. The portions were satisfactory, but nothing to write home about. My guest ordered fish steamed in banana leaves and said it was fresh and excellent. The food didn’t take very long, likely because most people opt for the buffet at lunch. There’s an interesting selection of Asian imported beers, which are always a nice complement to the meal. Considering the portion sizes, however, the restaurant is a little bit pricey. Perhaps it won’t be a regular lunching spot but I will definitely go back again."

January 2009 — "I did make it to Thai, it was my first time for Thai food in Edmonton and I went to Sukhothai rest, at first I was impressed with the decor n the eye contact from the server then the food and service, both are excellent. Foods are very nice presentation n taste (same like in Thailand itself). I love mango tango curry..yum..yum

January 2007 — "I absolutely loved the atmosphere, but the food was mediocre, and for what you get it is very expensive. True Thai food is plentiful, delicious, and cheap. "
