January 2009 — "Went there twice. On both occasions the food was great. First time it was during the dinner rush so I can't fault the waiters/waitresses for being a bit slow on the orders.
Second time it was a bit after the dinner rush so we got a lot of attention.
The food wasn't as great as other places I've had pho at (I'd give it a 9.5/10 if I never had pho before and didn't come from a big city). Coming from Vancouver though, I can't fault the restaurant. For Lethbridge this place is actually VERY GOOD. Not what I expected at all. Something that was a bit different was that they don't seem to use as much MSG in their pho, I really noticed this little detail. I was expecting it to be as salty as other pho I've had at other restaurants.
The restaurant is very clean and it seems like the management cares a lot about how the area is presented and the ambiance of the area.
I haven't had the Vietnamese Coffee there yet but I'm expecting a pleasant surprise when I try it out if it's as good as the food there.
All in all not a bad place to eat if you love pho. My Vietnamese friends would probably give this place a 7.5/10 if they had pho here."

"A good restaurant that I often enjoy"

September 2008 — "This is a restaurant that I have been dining at regularly for the last 3.5 years. On this particular occasion, my friend and I were dining there with our two little ones (16.5 months and 14 months old). We were having an early dinner on a Saturday night so the restaurant was not very busy yet. Our waiter was very new but he was exceptionally friendly and helpful and trying his very best. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy but it was clean and appropriate. I enjoyed the shrimp salad rolls to start and they were very fresh and tasty. I think had the rice vermicelli dish with spring rolls and vegetables on top for my entrée. It was great. The food was all cooked just right and the portion sizes were perfect for my liking. Although we did not order from the menu for the kids, the atmosphere and restaurant were relaxed enough that we felt comfortable having them there, eating the dinner that we packed for them. I have always enjoyed this restaurant and I will continue to visit it."
