February 2010 — "We went for dinner for a family event and pre ordered peking duck three ways, the skin was crisp and the wrap was beautifully thin, had a whole fish traditionally steamed with ginger and green onion (cooked perfectly), the cold meat appetizer plate was tasty and the butter garlic shrimp was our favourite. It was nice to see that they offered fresh chinese broccoli, it was great. We asked that the dishes be prepared with less salt due to preference and they accomodated our request beautifully. Will be returning again and again!"

February 2010 — "February 2010 - Just came back from the Regent this evening...what a major disapointment. Went there with a friend because we had read some good reviews on other websites as well as from a few co-workers. Ordered dinner for one, and this is what I got: flat eggroll which barely had any stuffing and served in the plum sauce (yes, you read right; in the plum sauce!) I've had better grocery store frozen eggrolls. Spare Ribs: breaded deepfried and probably the worst cut of the spareribs you could possibly get. Beef and Broccoli with frozen carrots (yes, mushy frozen carrots- a vegetable that can be bought fresh inexpensively 12 months of the year.), lots of broccoli though and very little beef. Tasty sauce. Chicken Fried Rice: bland but not bad. To top off the meal, the ubiquitous fortune cookie! Mine was fortuneless! Figures! Needless to say, I will never return. Lethbridge has much better Asian food restaurants."

A array of classic Chinese dishes are available at the Regent, complemented by the modern decor. Wayne Kwan, owner, opened the doors to his restaurant in 1986. Since then, The Regent has gained a reputation for quality dishes and friendly service. There are Banquet rooms for larger celebrations. Catering available. Karaoke Friday and Saturday nights from 9pm to 2am. Daily luncheon buffet, all you can eat, from 11am to 2pm.
