May 2011 — "I love the Belmont! Their old diner atmosphere is alive and well and, although the location is small, it works -- I even enjoy sitting at the counter. We were only a party of two so our wait was quite short we got seated almost immediately after we arrived which was a nice treat. The food is always filling, and quick! I had their delicious eggs benny with ham, what I love most about their benny's is that they use criossants instead of English muffins. The service was as great as it always is, very attentive staff and always quick to refill my coffee!"

"Nothing-Special Diner"

October 2010 — "We were actually trying to get to a sushi restaurant near-by for lunch but it was closed. This happened to look decent from the outside and so we tried it out. It was really just OK food-tastes like what I could make from home without much effort. The service was friendly and it did not take them too long to serve us. I much prefer the Over Easy breakfast house over this place. I do not think I will come back again-everything is just kind of boring."

"Great Little Diner"

June 2010 — "This is a unique and wonderful little diner in Marda-Loop. We went on a very busy Saturday morning and because the diner is quite small we did have to wait in line a while, but thankfully it was summer so the fact they have almost no waiting space, causing the line to develop down the sidewalk, didn’t bother us. They also came out and provided coffee, cream and sugar to everyone in line which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Inside is a traditional 1950's diner look, it is small and has some wooden booths around the exterior walls. We found those to be a bit uncomfortable to sit in, but the food made up for everything. Although the menu looks small, there was every option one would want for breakfast. The food was served in a reasonable time and the portions were huge. It was one of the best tasting breakfasts we have had in a long time. Despite the wait and small space, I highly recommend this diner and would definitely return for the mouthwatering food again. "

"Great spot for breakfast!"

February 2010 — "My wife and I found our selves childless for a couple of hours one Friday morning and deiced to find some place new for breakfast! We had heard about this place in Marda-Loop so thought we would check it out! It is a typical diner, kinda cool inside but nothing special. The menu was small, but seemed to have everything we were looking for. My wife ordered french toast. This came with hash browns and bacon, while I had a burger! The orders were ridiculously huge! They were both fantastic, but there was absolutely no way either one of us could finish! That said - they were both really, really yummy! Our only complaints were the chairs were uncomfortable...almost too high to the table. It just felt awkward to sit in them. And they only accept cash! I never, ever carry cash so this was kind of a pain. But luckily there is a bank machine across the street so we were fine. I would defiantly go again! "

"Tasty Vintage"

November 2008 — "The sister restaurant of Galaxie Diner in the southwest, Belmont Diner offers the same menu of classic fare, including their delicious eggs benedict with Montreal smoked meat. While the menu is the same, the Belmont steps up the classic elegance a notch with antique wooden booths and soothing colours. The line-up out the door is the same at both joints over the weekend, but it's always worth the wait and once seated, service is prompt and friendly. I'm a big fan of both."
