July 2008 — "Every time we go to Banff we seem to stop at Barpa Bill's for lunch. They have wonderful Greek fast food. The tzatziki sauce in their burgers is a nice touch. Plus, the burgers are really big. So if you order one, do so on a hungry stomach. The service at Barpa's is fast, so in no time you can be munching away on your tasty Greek burger!"

November 2007 — "It is not fancy, not that healthy, not much seating, not that many options, cash only, but for what it is GREAT.
This is a small Greek food to go place. It has a few kinds of burgers (best in banff by local vote) with either fries or greek salads, chicken, beer, lamb souvlaki, some home made desserts, pop by the can. Try the greek burger with fries.
The place is a one man show, and he does a great job. Our food was up in 5 minutes, and a few people where ahead of us. Walls have lots of white/blue pictures of the homeland, clean serving counter and the seating for 10 was nice and clean too. Looks like he has been cooking behind his own counter for long time, and uses his own recipes, and runs his own show. He makes lots of locals happy, and it shows. he is open from 11:30 - 8 and delivery is avail after 4pm. The place is cash only as well, No cards of any kind.
So the burger was great, and my guests souvlaki looked very nice, fresh off the grill, great sauce, lots of onions (too many?) and fresh hot pita or bun to put it into. Fries are home made, so some are over done, some are under cooked, but again that is the way a small place like this should be. For what it is, it is great. I hear that the salads are great too, but at a place like this the fries are too good to eat salad."

August 2006 — "If you like garlic, you will like this place. After eating a souvlaki, I had hideous breath for the rest of the day, but it was worth it because it tastes soooo good. Prices are low and service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is really small though, with only a few tall stools for seating, so I prefer getting food to go."
