September 2011 — "I'm sure how to explain it but when I first walked into Perkins I thought I teleported somewhere into the United States at some cheap family dining place off the side of the road -- the kind of place you see in the movies. This Perkins in fact reminded me a little of the restaurant in the movie Waiting, which is not a good thing. The only reason we chose the place was that it was close to the golf course we had just finished golfing at and we were starved. Their food options didn't differ much from those of any Denny's or Humpty's and the smell of egg ran rampant. My food was sub-par when it arrived and to be honest the service wasn't overly outstanding either. I couldn't wait to get out of the place. "

November 2009 — "I ordered a roast beef dinner and even though the menu said it was sliced roast beef, it came all ground up, like something they serve to people in a nursing home. I asked the waitress if they could just slice the roast beef and she said they don't serve it that way. I even pointed out what the menu said. I was offered a free meal, but if the food is that bad, then why go back?"
