May 2010 — "Nestled in a corner of the redeveloped site of the once Heritage Mall, Brewsters Brewing Co. & Restaurant is a very unusual and a 'must go again to' business. It was because of a medical appointment that ran passed the usual lunch hour, my partner and I felt we wanted some lunch before moving on. We were definitely not disappointed!
The decor is so unusual- huge beams are features which draw one's attention to the huge photos of various parts of a brewery's machinery. These are placed throughout the restaurant, as well as in the lounge which is attached, but everything gives a sense of privacy. The washroom had the latest in equipment and was very clean.
I chose a poached salmon which was served with a fairly strong, but delicious dill sauce and roasted green beans. I chose the mashed potato from three options, and to my surprise, the salmon was placed on top. Very tasty, since the dill sauce became the gravy! The choice of caesar starter salad was pleasing as well.
My partner was very pleased with the steak sandwich which was grilled the way he likes it, which is not always the case. I sampled the onion rings, which was part of his entree, and it was the best, most crisp one I have ever had.
Our server was friendly and efficient and returned only often enough to be of service to us.
We definitely will be back."

September 2009 — "Brewsters Brewing Company and Restaurant on 153 Avenue and Castle Downs Road in Edmonton’s north end is a must on Tuesday nights. I’ve been to Brewster’s before but this time we went on wing night, and in these tough economic times, can you really beat a $0.15 wing? Despite the restaurant being completely full of wing-lovers, the food service was very fast. There isn’t a lot of choice for wings but all the popular options are there. The hot wings are pleasantly hot but it’s a dollar for a side of dipping sauce, which is definitely not worth the price of five wings. That was disappointing! And of course I must mention the beer. Brewsters has ten or fifteen different beers that are brewed locally, and all the brews that I’ve tasted have been very good. There are a variety of wheat beers and ales, a lager and a stout. And the Raspberry Wheat Ale is really excellent. They apparently do a sampler where you can try all of their brews, though I’ve never tried it. While wing night is a great excuse to head down to Brewsters, they offer a wide-range of other menu items that are suitable for any night of the week."

"Brewster's lives up to it's name."

July 2009 — "I went to Brewster's Pub with a group of friends from my Soccer team. The atmosphere suited our group as it was comfortable and, with no "official" dress code, very down to earth. There is a large selection of beers, hence the name Brewsters, and if you are a beer lover, something for everyone. They had a nice varied menu.
I ordered the Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich with fries and it was excellent. The service was great and the server came over a couple of times throughout the meal to see if all was okay and if I needed anything else.
I did find the food prices a little high, but if you are there for the beer selection then the price of the food is evened out by the great selection of beers. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice evening spent with friends over a couple of drinks."

April 2008 — "We have dinned at Brewsters on many occasions. We have continually had good service, and great quality of food. Presentation has always be good and the ambiance is what it is and we like it. Thank you to the staff and management for keeping up with quality for a reasonable price.

October 2007 — "I have been going to Brewsters for years now and when I heard of this website I really wanted to let people know what I thought of Brewsters. The staff on the most part are really friendly and attentive, every time I go there they make me feel like I am at home and part of the family.
The food is always very good and the portion size is very generious, They will always put the customer needs first.
There is alot of restaurants out there and I really believe that Brewsters is one of the number one restaurants in Edmonton."

September 2007 — "My husband and I used to go to Brewsters (Oliver Square) all the time, about 5 years ago. It used to be great. Every Sunday morning we'de go for brunch and the service and food were both good. Enough so, that we kept coming back. Slowly, though, we noticed the level of service and food quality start to slip. I think the last time we went was about a year ago, and had such poor service, we just never went back.
Until last Sunday. We decided to give it another try, thinking a year had passed, and maybe things had changed. Well, it has, but for the worse, unfortunately. The lounge was pretty empty at about noon when we arrived. 6 - 7 tables at the most, and yet, we still had to sit for almost 10 minutes before being acknowledged. My husband had to finally go up to the bar and ask the server for menus. She was not too impressed with us for the remainder of our meal. She only offered me a coffee refill once, tables who had ordered after us got their food first, and we were half way done our meals before she even came over and asked how everything was. If there had been a problem, our food would have been cold before she even came over to check on us. We had to ask for coffee refills and cutlery from another server. Our server was unfriendly, and very inefficient.
The food was sub-par as well. My husband ordered a side of bacon with his meal, and he got 3 little, shrivelled-up peices of hard, crunchy bacon. Not worth the money. The Eggs Benedict was ok, nothing great. I've had better for the same price elsewhere.
Needless to say, we gave this restaurant a second shot, and we will NOT be back, probably ever. We can pay $30 for better food and better service some place else. There are just too many good restaurants in Edmonton to waste our time and money to be disappointed at this place again. "
