February 2012 — "Stopped in to this pub for a quick bite with a co-worker this week. Last time I was here it was still called the Purple Turtle I think?. I guess its been awhile. We arrived around 1:00 the place was packed. We were seated promptly, and drinks were brought out right away. We both ordered the steak sandwich with fries and salad. Our food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Not only that, it was cheap. For two lunches and two pops our bill came to $23.00....phenomenal pricing for a Calgary restaurant if you ask me. I enjoyed the flat screen tvs which are everywhere with different sporting shows on, which was great so we could catch up on all the days event. All in all it was a great lunch at a great price with fast and great service. Really who could ask for more. I will defiantly be returning the next time I am in the area. "
