October 2010 — "Had a breakfast sandwich. Great sandwich, pricing makes zero sense. A half-sized, 8-inch sandwich costs over $1.00 less per inch than the longer 10-inch, full-sized sandwich. Normally the more you buy the cheaper it becomes. By normally I mean everywhere else. "

"Fresh Deli Sandwiches"

August 2010 — "I have visited Chachis in TD Square on several occasions, usually when I want to splurge and treat myself to a really delicious deli sandwich. My biggest problem is usually with deciding what to have from their deli selection! Last time I went, I ordered the special, which was a simple meat sandwich with a spicy mustard. Another option is to fill out one of their little forms checking off what you would like on your sandwich, which is different than the usual method of telling the person making your sandwich what you'd like on it as they make it. It gives you a little more time to plan your perfect sandwich creation! I find that the buns are always very soft and fresh and they use very fresh veggies for toppings. The array of spreads and cheeses make for a much more interesting sandwich than you might typically get at a sandwich shop. As for sides, there are plenty to choose from and I usually just get pickles (nice, fresh and crunchy!) because I have found that after eating one of their decadent sandwiches I am too full to eat much else! I will probably be treating myself to the occasional Chachis sandwich for years to come, though they are definitely pricey so it doesn't happen too often. But in Chachis case, I believe that the saying "you get what you pay for" is definitely the case."

November 2009 — "If you're looking for a great sandwich place for lunch you need to give Chachi's a try. I recently went and enjoyed their special: Turkey, capicolla, and havarti with spicy mustard and aioli, lettuce and tomato on Italian loaf. It was fantastic, I especially enjoyed their side Mac 'n cheese and the gigantic kosher pickle. While their sandwiches are a little more expensive that your typical sub shop, the quality of the ingredients is well worth the extra money and you can order a half sandwich which I found to be the perfect amount of food. The small cafe is nothing fancy, but there is an appropriate amount of seating, and despite their fantastic sandwiches, they never seem that busy. I also appreciate the friendly service I always receive. The people that work their are very welcoming, helpful, and act like they really do want you to come back. I think it's fair to say they are the best sandwich shop in town. "

October 2009 — "This is a great spot to grab a fresh sandwich. Unlike the location inside TD Square, this new location in Bankers Court offers much more seating and great view of the outside through its large windows. Having just opened a couple of weeks ago, the place is very clean and the customer service is top notch with quick assembly of sandwiches. I ordered the corn beef swiss sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese. Both items were very good. You get your choice of bread and toppings on the sandwich, and you can tell the meats are freshly cut and very tasty. The macaroni and cheese was hot, cheesy and creamy better than most I’ve tasted. I will definitely come back here again as it’s a convenient location, prices are decent and service was fantastic. Cost of my meal today cost $10.25. It’s a little more expensive then your typical fast food, but I think worth the price."

"killer mac and cheese!"

January 2009 — "I popped by the Chachi's in TD Square one Saturday for some much-needed carbs after a tedious day of shopping. The gentleman behind the counter had contagious energy and I couldn't help but smile when he took my order: a small mac and cheese, to go. I took the container and sat in one of the comfortable leather chairs that are strewn around the mall. When I opened the dish, the pleasant aroma of cheese filled my nose and I knew I was in for a treat. My first bite was warm, gooey, and satisfying and completely hit the spot. The noodles were just the right texture, not to soft, not too hard, and the blend of cheeses was sublime. As I watched fellow shoppers wander through the mall, I chowed down on the savory, creamy lunch. It was a surprisingly satisfying and filling meal on a dreary January day. I would definitely return to Chachi's to sample one of their sandwiches and can heartily recommend the mac and cheese to anyone looking for a tasty lunch or snack in downtown Calgary."

April 2007 — "I had the daily special which was an Italian deli masterpiece: Mortadella, provolone, calabrese on an Italian style roll. It was fresh and delicious, although not inexpensive. I returned to try the house specialty Smoked Meat Sandwich. Perhaps the worst smoked meat I've ever had. The portion was generous but not tasty. The meat was tough, unappetizing lacking in flavour. At $9.50 I was terribly unimpressed. Having said that though - I will return to try the other sandwiches and the mac n cheese."

February 2007 — "Good pre-made sandwiches! Two choices per day, but if you don't find what you like they'll make you one to your specifications. Sandwiches are big, fresh and tasty. At $7.95 it's relatively pricey, but worth it. I keep going back . . . it's my new favorite sandwich place."

January 2007 — "I got a sandwich from Chachi's and while I think that most sandwiches are pretty bland, this one certainly was not. The wheat bread, turkey breast, provolone and veggies were given a kick in the form of the garlic aioli, which was soooo tasty. I was feeling indulgent so I had the Mac n' Cheese as a side and it was fantastic! The sandwich was big enough that I saved half for later. My only complaint is that it's a bit more expensive than other sandwich place but I guess it's worth it for quality. I would definitely go back -- the service was friendly and the food was great. "
