January 2010 — "Have been at Chops numerous times with my friend and we always dine in the lounge and thoroughly enjoy the intimate booths. Both avid prime rib fans. Awesum steak bites, wine list is to my likeing and the prime rib is excellent with big portions. Never once in 20 times have I had bad sevice or poor food, very friendly staff, priced accordingly for the quality I have come to expect from this fine establishment. "

April 2009 — "I was going to oder in pizza, but my partner wanted to go across the street from our hotel to Chop. I have been to the one in Winnipeg a few times and I like the menu, especially the steak bites. We arrived late, around 8:30pm and the crowd was minimal. We were greeted very quickly and decided to sit in the lounge. Our server came right over and asked what we wanted to drink, I opted for a martini and my partner a gin & tonic. We ordered a couple of appetizers, steak bites and chicken wings - they came fast and were excellent. For the main course we both ordered steak. I was already full from the appetizers and only finished about half of my meal, I asked for it to be boxed up, (it was great the next day). The service at Chop is always fantastic, my only issue is the prices are quite high. All in all I will always say yes if someone suggests Chop, it's always been a good experience for me, it has great decor, atmosphere and good food."
