March 2012 — "Bob the fish, located off of trendy and busy 17th ave is quite the place.
I love the decor throughout, the humourous servers, and live music.
I finally got to try it last weekend with a group of us celebrating a friend's birthday.
I feel like we have always had a plan or two to try Bob the fish, but everytime we had plans they would fall through.
This has gone of for years.
We have seriously been missing out!
Not only is their food to die for, their drink specials are awesome, and they even have live music during the week and on the weekends too! A great place to hang out with friends. The atmosphere is lively, and not a dull moment.
I enjoyed the full fish and chips with 4 pieces of haddock, tons of fries and salad. Quite the portion.
The fish was big, filling and baked just the way i like it.
Our server was nice, chatty, and hard working.
Quick fast service! Matched with tons of fun to be had by all! "

"Still Fishin' For A Good Pizza!"

November 2006 — "I happened to be right by Bob the Fish last night and we were craving pizza. I had heard that the pizza there was pretty good, and I was excited since I heard it was the same as Big Wally's used to be (owned by the same people I guess). The atmosphere was much like any pub, although it was very smoky. The server was very friendly and the beer was delicious. We ordered wings to start, which were tasty, and then ordered 2 pizzas (it was buy one, get one free night, which occurs on Mondays). Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our pizzas. They were raw, especially the dough, and the cheese wasn't even melted when they were served to us. We hate sending things back, especially my husband, since he used to work in the industry and would see what some immature cooks could do to food that is sent back. The servers were very concerned with our pizza situation, however, and they cooked them a little longer and re-served them to us. They were better, but still raw. I tried heating the leftovers in the microwave today for 5 minutes and the dough was still raw in spots. Yuck! I don't think we will be going to Bob the Fish for pizza again. "
