June 2008 — "I happened to go in last Thursday. It was bluesy and very classy. There was a nice crowd, and the service was quite good. The waitress made sure we stayed happy for our visit. It turned out that the cheeseburger was on special, and it was very good. There was also a live band and I enjoyed them very much. The singer had a very interesting voice and he played a pretty mean guitar as well. I learned it was Brian McCullough, and they play there every Thursday. I love blues and he and his band were very enjoyable. I will definitely go back when ever I can."

"Same Old Restaurant with an Exterior Face Lift!"

June 2008 — "I have gone to Karouzo's for years, but stopped going after poor service, sub par food and other occurrences over the past year or so. However, when looking for a place to eat last weekend, my wife and I decided to see what was different about the new Titans restaurant (which still serves the Karouzo pizza, by the way). The outside had been under renovation and looked much more trendy, but unfortunately, when we entered the restaurant, we realized all the money must have been spent renovating the exterior, because the inside had hardly changed. Yes, the seats had been refurbished and the carpet changed, but other than that, it was exactly the same layout, same feel etc. The menu even seemed the same.
I opted for a pizza, which was quite good, and my wife ordered the Mexican Salad. When she said she wanted the beef topping, the waitress told her it was steak, not ground beef, so she got the chicken. I think she enjoyed her salad, and I know that she was happy that the waitress pointed out what the better meat was.
There was nothing horrible about our visit, but it just seems like a place where old people and families would go - there were tons of them there when we went. I guess we could have gone to the bar side, but we didn't feel like hanging out with a bunch of drunks while we dined. The best part of the night was the service, she was really great. And we didn't get sick this time, last time we ate there it wasn't a good scene. "

December 2007 — "Well I have been going to this place since i was just born. Mr. Karouzos and Mrs. Karouzos were amazing people and usually took me around the restraunt. Mr. Karouzos would always take me into the kitchen tell me I could have anything I wanted and I would get it!. When they owned the restraunt, it was amazing food, amazing prices and Amazing customer service!.. they sold it and now it is named Titans. Its highly over priced, horrible service and the food isnt that great at all. All the waitresses seem to have a stick up their butt and dont like to serve you if your not ordering alot or strong drinks.... they dont understand the meaning of seperate bills and dont understand one shot in a drink. they charge you for three when you only asked for one, then act like your drunk to try to defuse their stupidity. I will never go there again, my last visit was in december and enough was enough. I feel sorry for mr. and mrs. karouzos their restraunt and bar that everyone used to love has turned into a rude, unwelcome, horribly disorganized place and I hope one day it will be like it used to. However i know it never will, so i will keep the good memory that karouzos once was but i will never return to what they have changed it into. Horrible horrible discrace...."

"My Opinion Has Changed!"

December 2006 — "I wrote a previous review about Karouzo's, but I'm sorry to say that my opinion has changed after last night's visit. It was my birthday dinner and we opted for a yummy pizza from Karouzo's... We always order the Karouzo's Special pizza, without shrimp (due to a severe allergy). Last night we ordered an additional pizza, the Zorba. Usually Karouzo's heeds our requests, but unfortunately there was a big problem last night. We were starving and finally got our pizzas and my husband started eating his slice and all of a sudden we realized that there were shrimp on it. We immediately had to leave the restaurant to get his medication and asked the server to pack up the pizza and told her we had a severe allergy here and that they had screwed up. We left our beverages and got our bill. The surprising thing about this is that the server charged us full price for the pizzas, even though they made a huge mistake. I had an Entertainment coupon, so I used that, but she even charged us for our beverages (non-alcoholic) and made no attempt to remedy the situation.
Shortly after leaving the restaurant to get my husband's medication, I started to feel violently ill. I'm not sure if I ate or drank something that was off at Karouzo's, but I spent the next 5 hours in the bathroom emptying my system. I hadn't eat anything for about 6 hours before I had the pizza and what I had eaten had been eaten by 15 other people (all of whom were not sick).
I am sorry to say it, but I was so disappointed with the service and the food at Karouzo's last night that I fear it will be my last visit to the restaurant. The way the situation was handled was disgusting and I can think of other restaurants where I appreciate the food and service much more. "

"Good Pizza at a Good Price!"Sarah
September 2006 — "I have been to Karouzos on several occasions over the past 20 years. The most recent visit was this past Friday and I must say, Karouzos is a sure bet for yummy pizza. Sometimes I get it delivered, but going to the restaurant is a good experience. The interior is kind of dingy and in need of a makeover, but I think that contributes to its charm. The prices are reasonable and their chicken wings are pretty good and very cheap... $4.95/lb, or $7.95/2 lb. We ordered the medium house pizza, minus the shrimp because of an allergy, 2 lb of wings, a tea and a beer. The bill came to $33 and we took 4 pieces of pizza home with us! The service was friendly enough seeing as it was after 10pm. When looking for a good pizza place with a unique atmosphere, try out Karouzos. It has been a neighbourhood favourite for years!"
